Subhive Terms of Use

Subhive is a privacy-first subscription tracker for iOS and Android. It is operated by Better Life With Apps ("Subhive", "we", "us", or "our").

These Terms of Use ("Terms") explain the rules that apply when you download, access, or use Subhive. By using Subhive, you agree to these Terms.

App Store Terms

If you downloaded Subhive from the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the app is also subject to the terms, payment rules, refund rules, and license terms of that store. If those store terms conflict with these Terms, the store terms may control where required.

For Apple App Store downloads, Apple's standard licensed application end user license agreement may apply unless a different license is provided through App Store Connect.

What Subhive Does

Subhive helps you manually track subscriptions, trials, renewal dates, prices, reminders, and review decisions. It can help you estimate subscription costs, remember trials, and review services you may no longer use.

What Subhive Does Not Do

Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the information you enter into Subhive and for checking it against your actual subscriptions, app-store accounts, merchants, banks, or service providers. You are responsible for canceling subscriptions directly with the relevant store, merchant, or provider.

Reminders are helpful tools, but they are not a guarantee. Device settings, operating-system limits, time zones, battery modes, notification permissions, app deletion, network availability, and other factors can affect whether reminders appear when expected.

Local Data, Imports, and Exports

Subhive is designed to keep core subscription data on your device. If you import files, screenshots, PDFs, spreadsheets, or pasted text, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process that material in Subhive.

If you export data or share files from Subhive, you are responsible for the destination you choose and for protecting the exported file after it leaves the app.

Purchases and Premium

Subhive may offer free features and paid Premium features. Premium is currently offered as a one-time lifetime purchase through the applicable app store. "Lifetime" means access to the Premium features attached to that purchase for as long as Subhive continues to make those features available and can verify the purchase through the applicable app store. It does not mean the lifetime of any individual person.

Prices, taxes, payment processing, chargebacks, refunds, family sharing, regional availability, and purchase restoration are handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, or other app-store infrastructure. Subhive does not receive your full payment card number.

We may add, remove, rename, improve, or change features over time. We will not intentionally remove paid access without a good reason, but app features can change because of technical limits, operating-system changes, store requirements, legal requirements, abuse prevention, or product decisions.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Subhive, interfere with the app, attempt to reverse engineer or bypass purchase checks except where allowed by law, use the app to violate rights or laws, or use automated systems to abuse app-store, catalog, logo, purchase, or support systems.

Intellectual Property

Subhive, including its name, design, app interface, code, text, and related materials, is owned by Better Life With Apps or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Subhive to you.

Third-party service names, logos, and trademarks shown in Subhive belong to their respective owners. Their appearance in the app does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Updates and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Subhive. We try to keep Subhive useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Disclaimers

Subhive is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties that may arise from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Life With Apps and Subhive will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed renewals, missed cancellations, subscription charges, business interruption, or other losses related to your use of or inability to use Subhive.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Subhive in the twelve months before the claim or USD $20, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Subhive changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, when appropriate, notify users in the app or through the app-store listing. Continued use of Subhive after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
